Heartbreaking-Couple drown in river as onlookers film & laugh without helping(Photos)

 In a shocking footage, a Romanian couple drowned while people laughed and filmed them, doing nothing to help.
The incident which happened over the weekend saw 47-year-old Calin Neagu and his 45-year-old wife Dana trying to cross over the rain-swollen Jiu river in southern Romania.They were in two carts being dragged by a horse when the current was too high for the horse to cope and the horse struggling to drag the load across the river, came to a halt.A fisherman watching rushed to help them by beating the horse hoping it would move them before the current swept them away but it didn't budge ..As the three of them struggled to stay balanced, an unknown group filmed the incident, finding it funny.A voice was heard saying

"She is drowning man. Haha.'..Another adds,'Are they drowned man?'.

After the couple finally sink into the water, the final words of the people filming the video are:

'Man, where are they?' 

Local police said that divers recovered the couple's bodies from the water several hours later, and are now investigating their deaths.The fisherman who entered the water to help the couple survived , as did the horse

A thug has become an internet sensation after the Stockton Police Department, California posted his mugshot on their facebook page..Instead of hailing the Police for nabbing a criminal,Jeremy Meeks, a 30 year old convicted felon's picture got over  66 thousand likes and 19,000 comments because of how handsome he looks..

They say he is the most beautiful criminal ever seen and the mugshot looks more like an ad campaign.Jeremy who is already a previously convicted felon was arrested for illegally possession of loaded firearms and criminal street gang activity..He is being held on $900,000 bail but many commenters are talking of raising the funds to set him free.The dudes are not finding it funny with one writing

His sister told TMZ "the only reason he carries guns is because he used to be in a gang and needs to protect himself.  He's been a practicing Christian for 7 years. He's been married for 4 years..

Talk about being busted ...A passionate England  fan  was caught on TV  flirting and exchanging phone numbers with a Brazilian woman at the World Cup.
Carl Wenz a father of four was at England's opening match with Italy on Saturday when TV cameras filmed him holding a mobile phone as he spoke to a female Brazilian fan.

Mr Wenz became the butt of internet jokes with the picture shared more than 2,000 times with caption"An England fan asks for this Brazilian fan's phone number mid-match"
Many asked how his wife would feel to see that..However,Mr Wenz who lives with long term partner and mother of his four kids, Nicola Moore defended himself to telling his local newspaper ,Harlow Star that she just wanted to take a selfie with him..

 'The girl in the photo asked if she could have a picture taken with me, of which I said yes, her brother took the photo and I am seen looking at it on her phone.

His friend and neighbor said

 He's in a long-term relationship and would consider the interest generated by the picture hilarious.He's a massive football fan and follows England all across the world. think he's even shut up the shop front while he is away. I know Carl as a proper family man so I don't think there's anything dodgy about the picture.He wouldn't save up to travel halfway across the world just to get a Brazilian girl's number. I bet he was showing her pictures of his kids.'

President Jonathan Appoints Mrs. Roli Bode-George As New Director-General Of NDLEA

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Mrs Bode-George takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). The appointment is with immediate effect.

After the arrest of 486 suspected Boko Haram terrorists on the 15th of June in Abia State, the President of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum(AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima, told Punch they are not Boko Haram members..

“This gives us a lot of worry. Are these South-East governors or whoever is at the helms of affairs doing this in the interest of this country or to cause more hatred for our people, so that the country will break up?Those who are acting out this script of disintegration are not helping this country, especially at this challenging period.We are not in support of Boko Haram or their bomb attacks. We are saying that innocent citizens should not suffer because some evil-minded people come from their area. I can tell you that those who were arrested in Abia are not Boko Haram members.We had a case where about 500 people arrested in Lagos. I intervened and on getting to the force headquarters, we discovered that most of them were innocent and they were released.We are not saying security agencies should not do their work, but they should not go about arresting hundreds of people just because they are looking for one or two suspects.”

If you recall, they were being transported in over 33 Hiace Hummer buses at night when soldiers intercepted them ,and when interrogated,they said they were going to look for work...Today, it was revealed that a major Boko Haram wanted figure was among the group..

After the discovery of bombs planted in the Living Faith Church,Owerri, the Imo State capital.MASSOB (Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra)leader Ralph Uwazuruike, told The Nation in a telephone interview.....

“The position of MASSOB on this matter is firm. We will bring down Nigeria, if any bomb goes off in the Southeast. We can no longer tolerate the mindless killing of Ndigbo in any part of Nigeria because we will retaliate with equal force against any attack on any part of Igboland.”

Two women caused a stir and an accident when they were both spotted naked .The first was photographed in Brazil,on the balcony of the Rio hotel the England squad are staying in.She shocked many when she emerged stark naked and stood by the railings..She then walked back into her room and put on a top..

The second,a nude woman sunbathing in Austria caused a crash on the road below when she positioned her naked body out of a window while she was sunbathing. According to Mailonline,the nude woman was snapped by student Gregory Shakaki lying on her window ledge with her legs dangling out of a third floor window in Vienna.

He said 'I thought I was suffering sunstroke when I saw it.'
Motorist Michael Kienast told local media......

 'I was behind two guys who had a fender bender because the motorists in front took their eyes off the road to glance up at the view. The young woman was obviously keen on getting some sun in a place where it doesn't usually shine!I heard the guy who was rear-ended shout to the motorist who had hit him: 'Didn't you look where you were supposed to be going?'
'The driver who hit him said: 'Sorry, I was distracted,' and pointed up to the window where the woman was lying.  The guy who was hit then said: 'Oh, right, I see what you mean'

 Several cars were blocking the road before police arrived, but by then she had disappeared inside and closed the windows.'

Duncan Mighty Lied! We Do Not Owe Him N50m – Rivers State Government

Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari has said Duncan mighty lied in the letter where he accused the State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi of owing him N50m, which is supposed to be a balance of the money he charged the Governor for a Youth Endorsement Concert in March 2011. According to Duncan Mighty, he brought a lot of stars which includes M.I, Banky W, Terry G, Ice Prince, Timaya, I Go Die, I Go Save and a whole lot more to perform for the governor in which he paid him only N10m from the N60m he charged him and promised to pay the rest soon.

Here is what the commissioner told Premium Times about Duncan Mighty’s accusation;

“There is absolutely no truth in that allegation.  The question perhaps you should ask Duncan is to tell you exactly when was he contracted; when it was executed and who contracted him? It is unfortunate when some people imagine that they have attained a status that enables them blackmail others, tell blatant lies and get away with it.”

“Without joining issues with Duncan Mighty, I would suggest that you double check on his antecedents and his friendships,” the commissioner said.
