Mother of Abducted Chibok girl dies of Heart Attack

Mary Paul Lalai,the mother of one of the abducted Chibok girls,suffered a heart attack and died .It was was confirmed by the member representing Chibok constituency in the State House of Assembly, Aimu Fona.
He told The Nation
" that on hearing the shocking news of the abduction of her daughter, she collapsed died"
The late Mary had since been buried according to Christian rites .Her husband  is still hoping two of his daughters abducted by Boko Haram would be released...

So sad....

Jos Bomb Blast: Corpses including 7 Pregnant women litter hospital floor, Morgue overfilled

According to Punch, the number of casualties are overwhelming to the extent Corpses, including those of seven pregnant women and children, laid on the floor at the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Jos, while officials battled to put the bodies in large polyethylene bags. Several human remains, were gathered into bags, ostensibly for a mass burial.

Also at the mortuary of the old site of the Jos University Teaching Hospital, which is adjacent to the blast scene, about 100 corpses piled up in the overfilled morgue.A medical personnel at the hospital, who pleaded anonymity, said about 120 corpses were brought to the hospital.

University of Jos also confirmed that 8 final year medical students lost their lives in the bomb blast.

The situation was similar at Bingham University Teaching Hospital but officials declined comments.
