Schools Shut Due To Protest Over Sanusi's Coronation, Military Bans Private Jets From Landing

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi the new Emir of Kano with Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano today, June 9

Hundreds of people are still protesting over the emergence of the immediate past Central Bank Governor, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as the new Emir of Kano, Northwest Nigeria. And number of schools are closed due to the protest.
Hundreds of young people made bonfires on Emir palace road on Monday in Kano city. Vehicles and tricycles were forced to hold green leaves while chanting 'bamuayi.'
Following the protests, most parents became apprehensive and refused to take their children to school. A number of schools remain shut in the city while additional security was noticed in bank premises.
Although the protests were concentrated within the old city, city dwellers avoided the streets.
In Sabon Gari, a predominantly Christian quarters, business activities suffered hiccup as most shops remained closed for fear of looting by protesters.
Few minutes after his announcement as the new Emir of Kano yesterday, residents went wild, torching some houses and cars within Kano city. The protesters marched from the city through Kofar Nasarawa into the state road. They later moved towards Government House where they were stopped by security guards.
Last night, the Federal Government grounded a private jet that took Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and other leaders of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) to Kano, disallowing it from flying back to Port Harcourt.
It was gathered this morning that a plane carrying Governor Tanko Al-Makura to Kano Airport was also not given clearance to land by the Commandant of the Airport.
Major General Chris Olukolade, Director of Defence Information, confirmed the ban on flight of private jets to Kano by the military for “security reasons,” the nature of which he failed to explain.
The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) also confirmed that the ban was imposed by the military.
Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, a former minister of Federal Capital Territory and a chieftain of APC said the ban was part of the ongoing persecution of Sanusi by the Jonathan administration.
The relationship between President Jonathan and the former CBN Governor had turned sour few months before the end of his tenure at the apex bank.
When the death of Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, was announced last Friday, many Nigerians had anticipated that the former CBN Governor will not to be the favourite candidate of the Presidency and the PDP for the new position.
This was why the PDP wasted no time in sending a congratulatory message when rumour filtered in yesterday afternoon that the eldest son of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero has been appointed as the new Emir of Kano. However, the PDP later withdrew the statement and had not deemed it fit to send another one to Lamido Sanusi.

Why I named my twins Hollywood & Nollywood-Actor Femi Ogedengbe fires back at critics.

Nollywood actor/movie producer ,Femi Ogedengbe who welcomed a set of twins on May 27th has fired back after the backlash he received for naming his son and daughter Hollywood and Nollywood..He told BON

“Hahahahahahah Nigeria my country! The level of hypocrisy in Nigeria is just too high…..Or how do I explain the attack I and my wife have received on different blogs for adding Nollywood & HOLLYWOOD among the names we gave our bundles of Joy : King Praise Micheal Victor Tochukwu Jesuogbo Iyinoluwa Hollywood & Queen Grace Michelle Victoria Peculia Chimamaka Jesukomeh Opeoluwa Nollywood .
I guess all those who condemned us have been so blinded by Hatred that they couldn’t see all other names but the HOLLYWOOD and Nollywood…Anyway thanks for noticing me my wife and our children, but What is really bad in those two names ?
Yes , there is always two sides to a coin and everything in life is to me like an abstract art work of a genius .

It always come with different interpretations depending on how every one percieve it from there stand point …..
Most people who criticise the names gave their reason , they said ;the two industries (HOLLYWOOD & NOLLYWOOD) are synonymous with immorality .
And I wonder if they are truly alright at all because if they are normal they will know that despite some of the negative reports from Nollywood,It is safe for Nigerians to declare Nollywood day because this is an industry that has consistently put our name in the world map and when you are fortunate to travel out of Nigeria.
Then you will realise we Nigerians are the only people that are not proud of NOLLYWOOD.If we choose to look inward then queations like ; where and What would have been of Names like,
Tonto Dike, Mercy Johson, Jim Iyke Kevin Ikeduba , Odun Adekola , in a country where unemployment is at it highest level.
I for one will still be in the back street of Mushin hussling or dead like 35 of my childhood friends who all died between 1990 – 1995 around wuraola in pako Eleja Area because they all decided to take the short-cut (armed robbery). But thanks to Nollywood, I am now Femi Ogedengbe! It is a pity that people will seat in the comfort of there homes, hide behind the freedom that such platform as Facebook and all other social network provide to judge the logic behind the actions of people they don’t know.
Here in Nigerian there is a town called Umuagwo & Umueke (descendants of snakes) and you don’t think that is weird enough but some of you whose family names are something around the neighbourhood of Esubiyi,Sango these and Ogun that Join in condeming a name that has its origin in such a vibrant industry as Nollywood that has engage more Nigerian youth in one way or the other and have helped in no small measure in putting smile on our collective faces unlike the Nigeria corrupt politicians who we shamelessly sing their praise ..
In as much as I appreciate everyone who congratulated me and my wife Nkechi Diane, the matter wey dey face Nigeria pass Femi Ogedengbe name pikinses Nollywood & Nollywood.
Abi Na bro’s Boko “insecurity” Haram we want talk about abi na corruorion we wan yan…In my little way I have addressed the issue of corrupt politician in my 1994 movie (Tear of the GHETTO)
What have you all done to show your displeasure ?
Nothing but you wan carry placards to protest my children names …..uncles and aunts make una park well oh …Long live Nigeria”

How we escaped after we were arrested, plane grounded in Kano-Governor Ameachi

The Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday recounted his ordeal and those of his colleagues in Kano on Sunday after a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, was named the new emir of the powerful Kano emirate.Mr. Amaechi and a few other dignitaries were in Kano to pay condolence visits to the Kano state government over the death of Emir Ado Bayero.

But sources also said  Mr. Amaechi and a few other chieftains of the opposition All Progressives Congress also poured into Kano after receiving intelligence that some northern traditional rulers sympathetic to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were putting pressure on the kingmakers and Governor Rabiu Kwankawaso to overlook Mr. Sanusi and appoint his rival to the coveted throne.

Responding to a Premuim Times  enquiry on Monday morning, Mr. Amaechi said after visiting Governor Kwankwaso, he, along with other dignitaries, made for the Aminu Kano Airport where his chartered aircraft was parked.
He said immediately his team entered the airport buildings preparatory to boarding the plane back to Abuja, authorities locked all the doors to the complex, holding him and his colleagues hostage.
The plane was also impounded, he said.
“The Kano governor called the airport commandant that we should at least be allowed to leave the building but the commandant refused saying he had an order from above not to let us out,” the governor said. “We had to force one of the doors open to get away.”
He said after they escaped from the airport, the team devised a means of hurrying out of Kano for fear they might be attacked by thugs sponsored by the federal government.
“So we quickly got a car, bought fuel and started driving towards Abuja. We sold a dummy to the airport people and a few others that we were returning to the Kano Government House. The governor was also expecting us. But we were far gone. I personally drove the car and all of us had to switch off our phones so no one would know our whereabouts.
“I drove for five hours and we arrived Abuja at 2 a.m. We were not afraid of armed robbers or anyone attacking us on the road. We were only afraid that the authorities could plant people on the road to waylay and attack us. But thank God we arrived safe.
In the car Mr. Amaechi drove from Kano to Abuja were a former governor of Gombe state, now Senator Danjuma Goje, a former governor of Kwara state, now Senator Shaaba Lafiagi, and a former Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abubakar Baraje.
“I have been shouting that we are in a dictatorship, people thought I’m joking or exaggerating,” Mr. Amaechi said. “At least we can all see what is playing out.”

In 2014, Does Penis Size Matter In Sex? Nigerian Women Speak

Wahala dey ooo…this blogging thing has exposed me to a whole lot of things. They should sha not spoil my Christian life, ahn ahn...Lol. So some young girls went around and asked few Nigerian women if the size of a penis matter to them in 2014 and their answers will shock you. They didn't even pretend at all. They all poured out their minds. And I know most of you will like this too. Smh, big smh. These are the kind of things you like to readddddddd lolllll. The mail after the cut.

Hi Ladun,
How have you been? We really love the work you are doing with your blog and how it has grown.
We own a new website called  ghenghenhub.com and will like to be associated with your website.
We have just carried out some research and spoke to over 100 Nigerian women on the topic "In 2014, Does Penis size matter in sex?
These women had a lot to say and we think it will be a great topic for your blog. These are some of the comments from the women;
According to Adesuwa, a Nigerian housewife, “penis size matters a lot in bed — Call me old fashioned, especially for certain types of orgasms. The penis size adds a lot to the sex appeal of the man in question. I first have to see it before he puts it inside my glory hole, I can say I am a lot more comfortable and believe I am more satisfied with men that have large penises.
Abisola, a 31 year old masters student says; “Personally I don’t want a small size dick, as a lady, I want to feel the size and depth of my man's dick,  no lady wants to feel she has a pencil or a pinkie in her. I believe it also increases stimulation, for a guy with a small number to give good sensation, then he truly needs to have a thick one”
Ijeoma, a 33 year old Medical doctor in Lagos says; “Whether I am black or white, penis size does matter to me. Sex is more than just shagging to me, I derive great satisfaction from making love to the right person, and I have found that I believe a lot more in men with large peckers than men with smaller ones. Science may differ on this one with me, but this is how I feel”
Deborah, a 34 year old trader in Oyingbo market says “which kain question be dat one sef, omo na big one me like oh. Which kain small bobo wey no dey confident go dey play around inside my t*t*? Me no do oh. ”
Doyin, a 24 year old fashion designer said “Penis size matters a lot and I have two reasons for this. Especially for ladies and women who started with big size penis, it will be difficult transitioning to something smaller from my experience. Also because I want to feel what's going or digging inside me as a result of extreme satisfaction. Large penises sure accomplishes its project or action and I wouldn't change that for nothing in the world”.
Kehinde, a 28 year old dancer and mother of two says “Loool, honestly, my man is really blessed so I have never imagined actually imagined having a man with a small pecker. I see this penis enlargement banners everywhere, and I always wonder what the women in the lives of this men go through”
Hadiza, a 30 year old worker at the consulate was more vulgar, she said “Of course size matters. I will always rather have a big one than a small one. When it’s in your face and you just look at every inch with your eyes. You know you are want to tear it up when you get a hold of it. No man with a small penis will near me not to talk of entering me”
Stacy, a 25 year old Unical student said “I started having sex when I was 19 but had my first real orgasm at 22 and it was with a guy in my class with a very big pecker, so I am kinda biased and will say size matters a lot to me”
Martha, a 28 year old says “Well, honestly sex is an act for procreation for me, my man is a good size and I can say I have had any worries with him at all. We have 2 kids and we have sex once a week”
Kemi, a 25 year old youth corp member says; “I like men with big penises. I haven’t had too many lovers, but I have enjoyed my sexual encounter with men that have big penises more than the small men. Since I noticed this, I kind of unconsciously size up most of the men that I come across this days.
Funmilawlah: For me, the bigger, the better, but honestly as long as a man is between 5 and 6 inches when fully erect, he shouldn’t worry about his size. It’s really more about what a man can do with what he has than the size of what he has. Sex will be enjoyed no matter what size his pecker is, if there aren’t any inhibitions and he is willing to meet the woman’s needs.
Shade H: I am a more traditional woman, I have not had too many male lovers but from my experience I think it’s really more about the individuals than size.sexy underwear.

Sexy Q: I love large men! Loool! There is this myth about black men having big and meaner tools than their white counterparts, but in all my travels, a man called Robin (not real name), my Australian lover packed a bigger and meaner tool than all the black guys I have dated. In all honesty, I think sex will be enjoyed if both parties are willing to listen and meet each other’s needs, it’s not just about the size of the penis.
So does a size matter to you too?

How Christ Embassy Pastor Impregnated Lady & Why Family Wants Him To Marry Her Corpse

                                                                Late Vivian   and baby
The family of a 28-year-old woman, Vivian Ndukwu, has demanded that the marriage rites of their late daughter must be performed by a pastor of the Christ Embassy, who has been accused of being responsible for the pregnancy that allegedly led to her death.
It was gathered that the 29-year-old pastor, identified simply as Hillary, was being detained at the State Criminal Investigations Department, Yaba, Lagos.
He was accused by the family to have had a secret romantic relationship with the deceased, who was a choir member in the church.
It was said that in order to avoid scandals, the couple decided to keep the relationship a secret. The secret romance continued until Vivian became pregnant.
When it became obvious that they could no longer keep the pregnancy a secret, Vivian was said to have agreed with Hillary that she should relocate to Agbara town in Ogun State to stay with a woman who had an orphanage.
Vivian allegedly told her parents that she was going to Abuja. She stayed at the orphanage until she was delivered of a baby girl on May 3, 2014.
It was learnt that eight days after the delivery of the baby, Vivian was taken to a hospital after she complained of fever and headache.
She eventually died, while her remains had been taken to the Badagry General Hospital morgue.
The owner of the orphanage, Mrs. Grace Kato, however, claimed that Vivian never stayed at her place.
She said, “Vivian called me three days after the birth of her baby. She said she wanted me to help her with the hospital bills, that she was stranded in the hospital. Out of compassion, I went to the hospital to help.”
She admitted that she took Vivian home after delivery to rest at her place for two days before returning to her parents.
She added that Vivian, however, ended up staying at her place for five days before she died.
She said, “I brought her to my house to rest for a day or two before taking her to her parents. In the process, I had to travel for my uncle’s burial. That was why she stayed that long because she was waiting for me to return. I came back on Saturday night, May 10, and the next day, she complained of a slight headache and we took her to another hospital nearby. That was where she died.”
The hospital where Vivian was said to have died, claimed that she was rushed to the hospital unstable and restless.
According to a doctor in the hospital, the people on duty stabilised her condition and referred her to a general hospital.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, “She was brought in on May 11, at about 1.20pm, unstable and restless. The story was that her complaint started that morning. Her blood pressure was also high. Being that we were not in possession of her past medical records, we acted based on clinical situation and referred her to a general hospital.
“The people that brought her left and so there was no one to take her to where she had been referred to hours after stabilising her condition. Several calls to the number they gave us were replied with one story or the other. At some point, the lady started gasping, and eventually died. It was not until the following day that they came to pick up her remains.”
The father of the deceased, Emmanuel Ndukwu, told our correspondent on the telephone that the orphanage founder had agreed with her late daughter to take custody of the child after delivery without the consent of the family.
He said he and his wife knew nothing about the pregnancy, adding that his daughter left his house and told the family that she was going to Abuja.
He said, “After telling us that she was going to Abuja, we did not hear from her until her death. But we later learnt that Grace (orphanage owner) and her husband had organised a naming ceremony for the new baby without informing us.
Emmanuel said he was not aware of the relationship between the pastor and his daughter until the sad incident.
He said, “My family and the pastor’s family have met and we agreed that Hillary will perform all the marriage rites for my late daughter according to the tradition of our people. We are doing this because a child is involved. The pastor did not deny his responsibility, so the normal thing must be done.”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, confirmed Vivian’s death and added that the matter was still under investigation.

She said, “The matter is under investigation at the Homicide Section of the SCID. The police is not aware of any negotiation between the two families.”
