Prolific rapper Jude Abaga well known as MI, has revealed why his younger brother and former label mate, Jesse Jagz left Chocolate City.

The 'short dark boy from J-Town' as the rapper fondly calls himself, said on a popular Lagos pigin radio station, Naija FM, that his brother left the label not for bad blood.

MI, who is a multiple award winning rapper and also one of the few successful rappers in Nigeria, said Jesse Jagz left Audu Maikori-led Choc City for growth.

He said Jesse Jagz left Chocolate City for growth and not some negative reasons being speculated by some.

Jesse Jagz recently announced through a statement that he was no more with Choc City which also has Ice Prince and Brymo as its artistes.

The relationship between Tuface (real name Innocent Ujah Idibia) and Blackface (real name Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) dates back to 1996 when they first met at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu and that chance meeting gave birth to arguably what would be one of Nigeria’s biggest R&B/Pop group – Plantashun Boiz – with Richard Chibuzor Oji (Faze).

However, fast forward 17-years later, Tuface and Blackface, both Idomas from Benue state, are neither friends nor enemies; just colleagues in the industry.
