Father whose 11-year old daughter was raped in Ogun told she enjoyed it

An aggrieved father whose daughter was defiled five years ago by her school’s proprietor,alleged that a DPO said his daughter (the victim) would have enjoyed being raped.On June,19 ,2014,Mr. Danwanu Moses father reported that his daughter now 16,was raped by the proprietor when she was 11 but his claims were laughed off..Now he wrote a petition to the Ogun State Commissioner for Education, dated Friday, June 20, 2014.Part of the petition obtained by Punch reads..

“The police will not act to protect girls. Their failure to protect the girl-child, especially in the villages is a disgrace to Nigeria in the eyes of the world.I took my daughter to the local police and appealed to them to arrest and prosecute this man but they dismissed me and said there was no evidence and the DPO in front of my daughter said she would have enjoyed it anyway.This is the most disgusting behavior of the police in response to a very serious crime with long lasting psychological damage on the victim.My daughter and the other girls who have been abused by the proprietor deserve justice; they deserve to go to school without fear of harm, without having to be faced by the man who raped and defiled them.I beseech you to please help me find justice and secure the safety of my daughter and the girls in my village.””

He says  the school proprietor took advantage of his closeness to him (the father) to commit the act and that the daughter could not tell anybody because she had been threatened not to tell anyone.

MumaGee who recently stated that she spends up to half a million naira in making her hair, has finally spoken about the much publicized public fight of her husband with another actress, Angela Okorie. While speaking with Nigerian Tribune, MumaGee made it clear that Angela was only trying to use her husband’s name to shine, and ofcourse she tried to bring her in by mentioning her name in the pages of newspapers but she was too busy for her. Here is what she told Tribune;

Can you tell us what your first reaction was when you heard the news of robbery and rape linked to Angela Okorie, Prosper and Prince Eke, your hubby, in South Africa?

My first reaction was not negative at all, but as the other party went on and on, I could see a sure case of someone trying so hard to take a shine on the brand Prince Eke; and even wanted to bring my name to it because I kept reading ‘Muma Gee’s husband’ – which just made me laugh so loud each time, and I refused to get involved.

Do you think your silence served the case well?

Yes, because I don’t have time for child’s play.

Finally! These are the faces and names of the abducted Chibok Girls

It's been 67 days since their kidnap,yet, no word of their release.Their pictures had also been kept away from the world,till now..These are the faces of the over 200 girls gotten from a leader of the community council in Chibok..According to Gordon Brown of Mailonline

"I was shown these pictures after visiting Nigeria this week. I met the leader of the community council in Chibok, the town from which the girls were abducted.Slowly and with tears in his eyes, he flicked through a file in which he had recorded the names and photographs of the girls.Not even the police and Army have managed to compile such detail he has amassed from talking to the parents of the kidnapped teenagers.The file has 185 pages — one for every girl. Each page has a photograph, and beside each passport-sized picture some stark facts — the girl’s name, her school grade and the date of abduction. For the other 19 abducted girls, he has yet to locate photographs.
